Rick Crimmel > I discovered this bald eagle on the side of a cliff in the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, located near Sequim in Clallam County, Washington, on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The 631 acres of the refuge include Dungeness Spit, Graveyard Spit, and portions of Dungeness Bay and Harbor. Dungeness Spit is 5 1/2 miles long and very narrow, with a beautiful lighthouse at the end of the spit.
